Marchionda’s, a future fine dining Italian restaurant is busy making renovations at 7135 Harford Rd in Parkville, formerly the home of Angelina’s.

Father and daughter team, Tony Crews and Joann Stoffel are excited to open their first restaurant in a Baltimore, “landmark site.” The restaurant will seat approximately 140 and will offer fresh Mediterrean style food, from homemade pasta to tiramisu.

Marchionda is Tony’s mother’s maiden name and her authentic Italian cooking is the inspiration for the restaurant.

Renovations to the space have been extensive, including the installation of central air and an actual heating system, raising the ceiling in the bar area to six handicap accessible restrooms. Once the rehab is all said and done, the bar area will still remain in the basement area and will feature the original Angelina’s bar with a new top. The main seating area will be on the first floor and the second floor will be used for private parties, catered events and general overflow seating on the weekends.

Brian Baines from The Mallet in Fallston will be the general manager.

Marchionda’s will be opening in May.
